SEFA Profile

The Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association is a voluntary international trade association representing members of the laboratory furniture, casework and fume hood manufacturing and the related equipment industry. The Associations focus is to  promote the industry with improved quality, safety and the timely completion of laboratory facilities in accordance with customer requirements. SEFA uses its best effort to promulgate recommended practices for the benefit of the public in light of available information and accepted industry practices.

SEFA’ Recommended Practices and the glossary of terms are not copyrighted and may be disseminated without written permission for their widest possible use by quoting or photocopying whenever necessary.
