SCHEDULING:
One of the most important aspects of a project is the integration of all of the construction activities into a schedule, which expedites progress. We identify major critical operations, time periods, and installation deadlines in order to prepare the most accurate schedule possible. We also develop a project schedule, which coordinates our activities with those of other trades, to meet the scheduling objectives of the Owner and the General Contractor.
We realize that our manufacturing schedules must support the construction schedule of a given project; therefore, we prefer to be part of the planning process for laboratory projects. This allows us to properly forecast our capacity needs. We plan for an increase in production to satisfy our customer’s needs, and avoid “bumping” projects. Orders are scheduled into the manufacturing facility on a weekly basis. Our weekly schedules are formed to meet the individual delivery needs of our customers.
Detailed production schedules from our manufacturing partners allow us to provide information such as:
- Shop drawings and submittal dates
- Target release dates for fabrication
- Delivery dates
- Installation start dates
- Manpower loading
- Critical item tracking
- Trouble-shooting report
- Offsite storage and coordinated deliveries at additional costs if required
